Father's Day Celebration And Luncheon

We had a great Father's Day Celebration Service on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church. We had a great turn out with several visitors in attendance. The Presence of the Lord was tremendous as we praised and worshipped Him. Bro. Adam Gross led us in worship with the song entitled "Your Name", and Bro. James Downey led us into praise while singing "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms". Then Pastor McKinney preached an anointed and motivating message entitled "Men After God's Own Heart". Everyone in attendance became men after God's own heart! We had some church!

After the service we had a Luncheon catered by Caroline Smith Catering of Phelps Kentucky. Each person in attendance was presented a travel mug with the words, God Refreshes All, Cornerstone Apostolic Church, Father's Day 2009; a tool featuring a lighted screwdriver/level combo with the words God's Love Fixes All; and an ink pen that said, Men Who Walk With God Never Walk Alone.

We had many positive comments and several who said they would like to see us hold a men's conference at the Church. So let's pray that the Lord will lead us in the direction He wants, and we can reach out to others who can become men after God's own heart.
